Spend your first few hours exploring the ship’s many decks, taking in the grandeur of the Royal Promenade, lined with shops, cafes, and entertainment venues.

Evening Entertainment

After dinner, head to the Royal Theatre for a Broadway-style show; with professional performers, stunning costumes, and top-notch production values, the onboard entertainment highlights any Royal Caribbean cruise. The ship's many lounges and bars offer live music, comedy acts, ice skating shows and even a karaoke bar. For a show-stopping finale, be sure to head to the AquaTheatre for Aqua80Too - I won’t give too much away, because you truly need to see this to believe it!

On a 3 night sailing, you are in port both days 2 and 3 (Nassau and Coco Cay) whereas a 4 night sailing will follow the same itinerary, but include a sea day on day 4.

If you have sailed before, you have likely been to Nassau many times, and might opt to stay on the ship to take advantage of a less crowded space. Here is how we would suggest maximizing your day:

After an exciting morning, it's time to slow down and pamper yourself. The Vitality Spa offers various treatments, from massages and facials to acupuncture and wellness therapies. Afternoon: A Culinary Journey

One of the joys of cruising with Royal Caribbean is the incredible variety of dining options. For lunch, why not embark on a culinary journey around the world? The Windjammer Marketplace is the ship’s buffet-style restaurant, offering a wide range of international dishes. From sushi to pasta, there’s something to satisfy every palate.

After lunch, soak up the sun in one of the ship’s many pools. Whether you prefer the lively atmosphere of the main pool deck or the tranquility of the adults-only Solarium, you’ll find the perfect spot to relax with a cocktail in hand. The attentive poolside service ensures you won’t have to lift a finger as you enjoy your afternoon.

Evening: A Night Of Fine Dining And Dancing

Make a reservation at one of the ship’s specialty restaurants for dinner. From the sophisticated ambiance of Chops Grille to the vibrant flavors of Izumi, there’s a dining experience for every taste. After dinner, head to one of the ship's night clubs or lounges. With live DJ sets, themed parties, and plenty of space to dance, it’s the perfect way to end your day on a high note.

Perfect Day at Coco Cay

The name says it all, any day at Coco Cay is a Perfect Day!

We were fortunate to spend a full day at the beautiful island paradise known as Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean’s private island paradise in the Bahamas.

Unlike previous visits, this time we were kid-free so opted to take advantage of Hideaway Beach, a new adults-only beach club located on the island.

When you disembark the ship you will head to the entry point for all of Coco Cay’s attractions, here you will find Bahamian dancers, steel drum bands and plenty of Royal Caribbean staff welcoming you to paradise. A tram will take you to Hideaway Beach (or if you are up to it, you can walk which takes roughly 5-7 minutes). Once you arrive, you will scan your sea pass card and enter. Hideaway Beach is not one of the included attractions of Coco Cay and entry can be purchased in advance on your Royal Caribbean Cruise Planner, or onboard the ship at the Shore Excursions Desk.

Hideaway Beach will include private beach access with plenty of chairs and hammocks, optional cabana rentals, a Vegas-style pool with a swim up bar and DJ, and most exciting to me was an included lunch that differed from the rest of the islands offerings.

You could visit Perfect Day at Coco Cay hundreds of times and still find something new each visit!

If you are fortunate enough to hop on one of Utopia of the Seas’ 4-night sailings here is how we would spend the final day at sea:

Morning: Fitness and Wellness

Take advantage of the ship's fitness and wellness offerings, start your day with a sunrise yoga session on the deck and a visit to the state-of-the-art fitness center. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, a morning walk around the ship’s jogging track is a great way to enjoy the views and the fresh sea air.

Mid-Morning: Engage in Enrichment Activities

Royal Caribbean offers a range of enrichment activities designed to engage and inspire guests. Whether you’re interested in learning how to become a towel animal expert or want to tour the bridge, there’s an activity for you. These activities are a great way to add extra excitement to your day!

Afternoon: Indoor Fun

Prefer to escape the sun this afternoon? We were fortunate to test out (and succeed) at escaping Royal Caribbean’s Escape Room, located in Adventure Ocean (Deck 14). When you’re finished here, take a walk through the Boardwalk neighbourhood, grab a hot dog at the Dog House and enjoy a relaxing ride on Utopia’s carousel.

Late Afternoon: A Last-Minute Shopping Spree

Every cruise is complete with a bit of retail therapy. Utopia of the Seas features an array of shops offering everything from designer clothing and accessories to souvenirs and duty-free items. Take some time to browse the boutiques and pick up a memento of your trip. Pro tip: the shops and casino are only open once the ship is international waters, so sea days make for a perfect day to indulge!

Evening: Farewell Dinner and Show

As your final evening approaches, make it a night to remember. Enjoy a farewell dinner at one of the ship’s specialty dining venues, savouring the flavours of your last meal onboard. After dinner, catch one last show or head to the open deck to take in the night sky and the gentle sounds of the ocean.

Departure Day: Disembarkation
